Terre Lamb Seeley is an illustrator who has produced work for calendars, greeting cards and children's books. Her medium is watercolor and gouache.  Her renditions of landscapes. seascapes, interiors, people and animals are realistic and highly detailed. She has been working in the field of illustration since 1977 after she graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University.

After relocating to Martha's Vineyard, she began to paint the interiors of the circa 1600's house that she shared with her husband in Chilmark, Massachusetts. These paintings became her first published work, a series of calendars entitled "A Year in a Country House.” They were subsequently published as greeting cards by the stationary company,  H. George Caspari.  She then illustrated the three books in the "Little Black Dog" series, based on the life of the namesake of the popular Black Dog Tavern on the Vineyard.

She continues to illustrate those subjects that she finds the most intriguing: plants, animals, and interiors of antique houses. These are the basis for upcoming books...
